28MALL.COM SEEKS TALENTED MALAYSIANS AS THE NEXT GLOBAL INFLUENCER THROUGH MISS TALENT INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

Cash and Prizes Worth RM200,000 and Two Winners Represent Malaysia to the Global Finals in Hong Kong in May 2018

KUALA LUMPUR, 14 March 2018: 28Mall.com, a cross border loyalty rewards platform for original and genuine brands, held a press conference at MyTOWN Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur to official launch the Miss Talent International Competition Malaysia 2018 (MTIC 2018), with cash and prizes worth RM200,000 offered to winners and two winners will represent Malaysia to participate in the Global Finals in Hong Kong in May 2018.

“Miss Talent International Competition is not like the average beauty pageant as the competition will focus on the talent and the social media savvy of the contestants who will be groomed to be online influencers by enhancing their personal branding and growing the local influencer marketing industry,” said Fione Tan, 28Mall.com CEO and Pageant Director at the press conference.

The major highlight of the Malaysia edition competition is the introduction of Malaysia’s first Miss Social Media with an attractive cash and prizes RM50,000 offered and the winner will be appointed as the Social Media Ambassador for 28Mall.com and the sponsors. At the press conference, sponsors and partners were presented with appreciation certificates and include 28Mall.com, eOneNet.com, Amber Chia Academy, Exes Studio, Live Picture, SBS Print, Nulnu, NottingHeels, MyTOWN Shopping Centre, Mighty Monster Character Cafe & Bar, and supporting partner Asia Association of Influencer.

The first audition was held later at the same venue, with contestants from Selangor, Penang, and Sabah performing their talent including singing and dancing. “I am impressed by the talented performance of the applicants today during the audition. And I am confident the Malaysian winners will shine with their talent at the Global finals,’’ said Harrace Lau from 28Mall HK who judged at the audition.

28Mall.com also announced pre-sale of the Gala Dinner on 13 May in Kuala Lumpur where tickets are available online at www.MissTalentMalaysia.com. The first 100 purchasers will walk away with gifts and vouchers worth 100% of the ticket price, with table sponsors receiving free online marketing advertisements from 28Mall.com worth RM20,000 to build their branding online.

The next round of audition will be held in Johor Bahru at KSL Resort Hotel on 17 March 2018. Interested participants can sign up online and the closing dateline to enter is 31 March 2018.
